TORONTO, April 13 2018 – MindShare Learning Technology, a catalyst in driving innovation in education and nurturing 21st century skills, announces the 10th ‘Classroom of the Future Challenge—Extreme Makeover’ national winners.
“It’s never been a more exciting time for teachers to leverage technology to engage and nurture student success. Yet there is a lack of equity across Canada when it comes to teachers being provided essential 21st century tech tools and teacher professional development to maximize students’ full potential in a digital world. Through our contest we’re pushing the envelope in bringing awareness to the untapped potential for Canada to take a leadership role when it comes to innovation in education,” Robert Martellacci, president, MindShare Learning Technology and co-founder & president, C21 Canada.
The Classroom of the Future contest challenged Canadian publicly funded school teachers to create and capture innovative teaching & learning with technology practices depicting how they engaged and motivated their students through a short video. MindShare Learning Technology with the generous support of Dell EMC and supporting sponsors assembled an array of latest technology and professional learning prizing for an Extreme Classroom Makeover!
“First off, I want to give a huge congratulations to all the winners! Since the beginning, Dell EMC has been very excited by this strategic partnership with MindShare Learning and the opportunity to reach teachers and students through the Classroom of the Future Challenge,” Jon Dermott, Vice President of Sales for Dell EMC Canada. “There is tremendous potential for more accessible and up-to-date digital resources in classrooms, and through programs like this, we’re committed to working with innovative partners like MindShare Learning to bring these technologies to every classroom and school.”
