About Dr. Bill Muirhead–Bill is the Associate Provost, Academic at the University of Ontario, Institute of Technology. In his role Bill is responsible the following portfolios: academic integrity, undergraduate program review, university pathways, international programs, undergraduate policy development, continuing education, learning technology requirements, faculty mentorship and the Office of Teaching and Learning. Bill has had extensive experience in the areas of teacher training, online education, learning technology planning and development, educational policy research and international education. His current research interests are in the areas of online education, the design of hybrid teaching-learning environments and student diversity. A recipient of many awards, Bill is the past President of the Canadian Association for Distance Education.
